Code Architecture is a Melbourne architecture practice founded by Sebastian Monroe in 2014. Every commission is developed directly with the client, bringing together architecture, interiors, construction knowledge and close attention to detail.
Sebastian’s background spans architecture, interior and furniture design, building, estimating and art. That combination supports a holistic approach—from the first conversation and spatial idea through material decisions and the realities of construction.
The practice focuses on work that responds carefully to its setting and to the people who will inhabit it. Nature, sustainability, wellbeing and the pleasure of everyday use inform the design process, while digital tools support clearer communication and faster feedback.
Code Architecture takes on a deliberately limited number of commissions so each project can receive direct, personal attention.
